The Tahtalı Run to Sky which carries the distinction of being Turkey’s first Skyrunning race is organized in Çıralı in the Kemer district of the Antalya province. The organization was held for the first time in 2015. Many elite athletes, including the world champion of trail running, Andrea Huser, had the opportunity to take part in the race.
In 2020, 250 athletes from 12 countries competed in the race under pandemic conditions.
Tracks:
Tahtalı Run To Sky
It is 27 km long and has an altitude gain of 2650 meters. The race, which starts at sea level on the Çıralı coast, ends at the Olympos Teleferik summit facilities, the longest cable car in Europe, at 2365 meters.
The entire track is determined to be ascending. The last 3 km are completely run on scree and depending on weather conditions on snow.
Berg Sky Race
It is a 61 km long skytrail race with an altitude gain of 3900 meters. İt is considered to be one of the most difficult trails in their distance in Europe and Turkey. The race starts from the center of Kemer and ends at the summit of Tahtalı Mountain at 2365 meters.
Chimera Run
It is 29 km long and has an altitude gain of 1000 meters. İt start from Çıralı beach and goes through Yanartaş and Ulupınar and is the lightest and least challenging track among the race tracks on the Çiralı coast.
Ultra Sky
It is 100 km + long and has an altitude gain of 4800 meters. If you want to challenge nature, this is the race for you. It starts and ends at the center of Kemer.
